Job summary

Bitdeer is seeking an AI Datacenter Construction Manager to lead on-site delivery of its AI data center builds. You will act as Bitdeer’s on-site representative, responsible for safety, schedule, quality, and cost from mobilization to turnover.

The role requires managing the general contractor and trade partners, coordinating discipline leads, and maintaining progress on multiple sites across the US, including Ohio and Texas regions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction management, including 5+ years leading data center or mission-critical sites.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour, PMP, or CCM.

Responsibilities

• Site Leadership: Act as Bitdeer’s on-site lead and single point of accountability for the build.
• Contractor Management: Direct the general contractor and trade partners on safety, quality, productivity, and schedule.
• Daily Coordination: Run site coordination meetings, look-ahead planning, and site logistics.
• Schedule Delivery: Drive the site schedule and short-interval plans, flag and recover critical-path slippage.
• Cost Oversight: Review change requests, quantities, and pay applications with cost and procurement.
• Progress Reporting: Report progress, risks, and issues to the VP, Data Center Construction and the TPM.
• Site Safety: Enforce site safety plans with the EHS Manager and lead by example in the field.
• Quality Control: Verify work against drawings and specifications with the QA/QC Manager.
• Issue Resolution: Resolve RFIs and field issues quickly with design and engineering.
• Discipline Coordination: Coordinate civil, electrical/HV, mechanical, fiber, and ELV scopes on site.
• Authorities & Utilities: Work with local authorities, inspectors, and utilities on permits, inspections, and site access.
• Turnover: Support commissioning and deliver punch-list closure, as-builts, and turnover.
