Job summary

Trinity University in San Antonio seeks a Senior Director of Advancement Resources to provide strategic leadership for operations, data analytics, prospect research, gift processing and reporting.

The role leads a team, manages a budget, and partners with ITS, Finance, and Development to advance fundraising and engagement across alumni and donors. Seven+ years of experience in higher education data/ops preferred.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of progressively responsible experience in data analysis and reporting, operations, information technology, and other areas of administrative and operational management in higher education.
• Experience with fundraising software systems (Affinaquest, GiveCampus, Stripe) and related reporting tools (Informer, Business Objects).
• Strong ability to translate data into actionable fundraising and engagement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develops strategy and sets goals for advancement resources as a senior leadership team member.
• Oversees budgeting, policies, and protocols for principal gifts and annual giving.
• Leads prospect development, research, gift accounting, and data management teams.
• Oversees data integrity, reporting, and analytics tools across departments.
• Partners with ITS and Business Office to improve operational efficiencies.
• Directs hiring, training, and performance management of ARD staff.
