Job summary

Trine University is seeking a Director of Advancement Data and Research to lead data strategy, oversee the Slate CRM, and drive reporting, prospect research, and pipeline analytics. The role ensures data integrity, security, and donor intelligence to support fundraising effectiveness.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in advancement services or related roles, with strong leadership and collaboration across university offices and campaign teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 3–5 years in advancement services or related roles.
• Experience in gift processing, prospect research and management.
• Strong data governance, reporting, and analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Slate CRM data governance and security; establish data standards and access control.
• Supervise gift processing and donor records; ensure timely, accurate entries.
• Build and maintain queries, dashboards, and reports; inform segmentation and forecasting.
• Lead prospect research and management; develop prospect profiles and wealth assessments.
• Coordinate portfolio/pipeline reviews with gift officers; support campaign planning.
• Provide data pulls for outreach; ensure compliance with privacy standards.
