Job summary

UPMC is recruiting a Pathologist for the Head and Neck Pathology Center of Excellence. The candidate will have subspecialty training and academic interest in Head and Neck Surgical Pathology, joining a four-pathologist COE known for neoplastic and non-neoplastic diseases.

The position offers protected time, strong ties with Head and Neck Surgical and Medical Oncology groups, and opportunities to engage in translational research and fellowship activities at UPMC Presbyterian-Shadyside.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and board certification in Anatomic Pathology are required.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Pennsylvania is required.
• Active record of scholarly activities and publications.

Responsibilities

• Sign out surgical pathology cases as needed.
• Mentor and teach Head and Neck Pathology fellows and residents.
• Participate in research initiatives.
• Provide leadership to develop diagnostic and research programs.
• Collaborate with Head and Neck COE Director on service and operations.
