UPMC is seeking a Pathologist for the Head and Neck Pathology Center of Excellence at Presbyterian-Shadyside Hospitals in Pittsburgh. The role emphasizes diagnostic service, teaching, and leadership in a multidisciplinary environment with translational pathology opportunities.

The candidate will have subspecialty training in Head and Neck Surgical Pathology and will participate in fellowship education, service operations, and national/international representation.

Qualifications

• MD or DO medical degree required and board-certified in Anatomic Pathology.
• Subspecialty training and academic interest in Head and Neck Pathology.
• Active medical licensure eligibility in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Sign out surgical pathology cases as needed.
• Mentor and teach Head and Neck Pathology fellows and residents.
• Provide leadership and guidance for diagnostic and research initiatives.
