Job summary

UPMC Division of Anatomic Pathology, in collaboration with UPSOM, is recruiting a Pathologist for the Head and Neck Pathology Center of Excellence (COE). The candidate should have subspecialty training and strong academic interest in Head and Neck Surgical Pathology.

The role includes leadership in service and research initiatives, mentoring fellows and residents, and potential involvement with translational pathology projects.

Qualifications

• MD/DO and Board certified in Anatomic Pathology with specialty training and academic interest in thoracic pathology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Pennsylvania is required.
• A good record of scholarly activities and publications.

Responsibilities

• Sign out surgical pathology cases as needed.
• Mentor and teach Head and Neck Pathology fellows and residents.
• Participate in research initiatives and translational pathology projects.
