DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a passionate, people-first Store Leader to oversee store operations. You’ll be accountable for coaching your team, delivering strong results, and ensuring a hassle-free shopping experience for customers.

This role emphasizes inclusivity, community involvement, and taking care of athletes and teammates. You’ll lead hiring, drive sales, manage expenses, and maintain safety and standards across the store.

Qualifications

• 3 years Retail Store Manager experience or 5 years of related management/customer focused experience
• Strong problem-solving ability and analytical skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Must have strong people management skills and an ability to develop talent.

Responsibilities

• Interview and hire to build an effective store team with diverse backgrounds, skill sets, perspectives, and experiences.
• Drive sales and profitability through customer satisfaction and data analysis; manage expenses and workforce budgeting.
• Guarantee floor sets are executed, visual standards met, and the store is clean, organized, and safe.
• Prioritize community involvement and build relationships with local leaders.
• Drive shrink (store loss) results through compliance with safety, loss prevention, and cash-handling procedures.
• Other tasks as necessary.
