JOEY Restaurants in Los Angeles is seeking a Head Chef to lead a high-performance kitchen team and deliver iconic hospitality across a multi-million-dollar operation.

You will manage labor budgets, ensure top-quality food production, and mentor cooks to continually elevate guest experiences. This role demands hands-on leadership in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3+ years culinary experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Must have or be able to obtain valid local/state Food Handler and California Responsible Beverage Service certifications.
• Passion for hospitality and proven track record of world-class hospitality.
• Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
• Able to walk/stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen team to prepare ingredients and execute recipes per JO EY standards.
• Coordinate preparation and cooking methods for menu items, ensuring consistency.
• Maintain clean, sanitized prep and cooking areas and organized storage.
• Train partners on equipment use, safety procedures, and best practices.
• Manage in-store budgets, food costs, and labor while driving iconic hospitality.
