JOEY Restaurants is seeking a Head Sous Chef to lead a high-energy kitchen team in delivering iconic culinary experiences at a multi-million-dollar restaurant. You will manage labor budgets, maintain a pristine environment, and mentor staff to elevate performance and guest satisfaction.

The role requires 3+ years of culinary experience, valid Food Handler and California RBS certifications, and a passion for hospitality in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years culinary experience.
• Must have or be able to obtain local Food Handler certification.
• Must have or be able to obtain California Responsible Beverage Service certification.
• Passion for hospitality and world-class hospitality experience.
• Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
• Able to walk/stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead your team in preparation of ingredients and adherence to recipe standards.
• Oversee cooking methods to ensure quick, precise menu item creation.
• Maintain clean, sanitary, and safe prep and cooking areas.
• Ensure equipment and storage areas are clean and organized.
• Train team on safe use of kitchen equipment and cleaning agents.
