Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced register team and ensure excellent customer service. You will supervise cashiers, assist with store operations, and help train new team members at a busy Sprouts location.

The role requires 18+ and 1-2 years cashiering with leadership training; you will manage schedules, uphold cleanliness, and maintain cash handling accuracy in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age; possess a high school diploma or GED, and 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience supplemented with leadership training.
• Be dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Have outgoing, friendly behavior, a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers as a role model.
• Ability to perform repetitious tasks, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized; strong math and cash handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Provide direction and support to Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks; visit registers proactively.
• Schedule and oversee breaks in compliance with company policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training of new Cashiers and addressing disciplinary actions.
