Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations. You will guide frontline staff, ensure excellent customer service, and help with scheduling, training, and compliance with company policies.

The role requires leadership abilities, reliable multitasking, and strong numerical skills to handle cash and register operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 1-2 years cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and strong customer interaction skills.
• Proficient with front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of cashiers and provide leadership to ensure excellent customer service.
• Assist with register issues and customer assistance at the point of sale.
• Schedule and supervise breaks; monitor cash handling and cleanliness.
• Hire and train new cashiers and take disciplinary actions when needed.
• Support a fast-paced environment with proactive guidance at registers.
