Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to supervise a fast-paced team and deliver outstanding customer service in a busy store. You will help lead cashiers, assist with register operations, and support staffing decisions while maintaining a welcoming shopping experience for customers.

The role requires 18+ years old, a HS diploma or GED, and 1–2 years cashiering with leadership training. Expect a flexible schedule, opportunities for growth, and competitive pay in the $17.20–$23.20/hour

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs., up to 50 hours with breaks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Ensure excellent customer service by visiting registers and guiding Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks.
• Assist with customer issues at the register.
• Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks per policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new Cashiers and disciplinary actions.
