Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced front-end team and deliver exceptional customer service in a retail environment. You will supervise cashiers, assist with daily operations and help train new staff while ensuring accuracy and efficiency at the registers.

The role requires 18+ with a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years cashiering experience and strong math skills. Flexibility for nights, weekends and holidays is essential; a supportive team and growth

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED; 1–2 years cashiering experience with leadership training.
Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
Outgoing and friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
Ability to operate front end equipment (register, calculator, scanner).
Strong math, cash handling and counting abilities.

Responsibilities

Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations.
Proactively support cashiers and courtesy clerks to ensure excellent customer service.
Schedule breaks, monitor cash register supplies and maintain restroom and parking lot cleanliness.
Oversee security, loss prevention measures and door visibility.
Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and take steps for disciplinary actions.
