Job summary

Banner Personnel is seeking a Housing Choice Voucher Rent Increase Coordinator to process rent increase requests from HCV owners and landlords. The role focuses on determining eligibility, conducting market analyses, and ensuring timely determinations in line with HUD Rent Reasonableness requirements.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, or a combination of both, with strong communication and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience working with public housing, low-income housing programs or similar non-profit programs.
• 3-5 years of client service experience required.
• Supervisor or leadership experience desired.
• -equivalent combination of training, education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Receive and document rent increase, decrease, and utility change requests from HCV owners/landlords.
• Enter data into proprietary software according to rent increase procedures.
• Process files monthly within timelines and department goals.
• Determine owner eligibility for rent increases per policy and HUD guidance.
• Communicate with property owners and HCV participants about increases.
