Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a sales professional to prospect, develop relationships with potential clients, and close new and expanded sales agreements. This quota-driven role targets medium-sized businesses and emphasizes a consultative sales approach to demonstrate the value of Paylocity’s cloud-based HR and payroll solutions.

The role requires high activity, independent prospecting, and collaboration with internal departments to ensure smooth client transitions and successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree strongly desired.
• 3-5 years’ sales experience.
• Proven track record of sales success.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business opportunities regularly.
• Schedule and present Paylocity services to prospective clients.
• Prepare and present proposals and follow up throughout the sales cycle.
• Coordinate documentation for client onboarding to Paylocity.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client transitions.
• Develop prospects via telemarketing, referrals, and networks.
• Maintain broker and referral source relationships.
• Engage at trade shows and events to promote Paylocity.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
• Other duties as assigned.
