Paylocity is hiring a HCM Account Executive in the Phoenix area to prospect and develop business sales relationships with potential clients and close new and expanded sales agreements.

Role requires a consultative sales approach, persistent activity, and the ability to work in a quota-driven environment. The position emphasizes targeted outreach to mid-sized businesses (49-499 employees) with strong presentation skills and a proven sales record.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; college degree strongly desired.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a sales position.
• Ability to succeed in a competitive environment; maintain high activity standards.
• Proven track record of sales success; strong presentation and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Generate net-new business opportunities on a consistent basis, leveraging company expertise and industry profile.
• Schedule and present Paylocity services with prospective clients.
• Prepare and present proposals and provide appropriate follow-up throughout the sales process.
• Organize, complete and obtain documentation for clients to move to Paylocity system.
• Work with internal departments to ensure smooth transition for client.
• Develop prospects through telemarketing, referrals, and other sources.
• Build and maintain relationships within the Broker channel and other referrals.
• Maintain contact with existing customers to determine needs for additional services.
• Attend trade shows and events to promote Paylocity services.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quota for territory.
