Job summary

SK hynix America in San Jose, CA, seeks an HBM Architect to lead base-die architectural challenges for US customers and to build a focused HBM design team in the US. The role involves developing advanced and customized HBM architectures for future products while strengthening competitiveness through collaboration and technical leadership.

This onsite, full-time position offers a path to influence memory solutions across data centers, AI, and mobile devices, with strong benefits and growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (Master's preferred).
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience (Research periods during Master's or Ph.D. recognized).
• Experience in reviewing and designing DRAM or HBM Architecture with understanding of DRAM/HBM subsystems.
• Experience in Full Custom + Digital Co-Design and PDN analysis.
• Experience in Full Custom-based Logic Foundry design.
• Experience with tools and equipment for DRAM or HBM product failure analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design circuits for DRAM and HBM products that meet internal and external specifications.
• Improve design quality and yield during DRAM or HBM product development phase.
• Perform characterization analysis and verify product specifications at Wafer, KGSD, and Assembly stages.
• Enhance performance and ensure stable operation to meet customer requirements during development.
