Job summary

Patriot Environmental Services is seeking a driven Heavy Equipment Driver with a CDL Class A to join our Western United States operations. You will operate multiple heavy machines, deliver materials safely, and prepare Haz-Mat training manifests for emergency response scenarios.

You must meet DOT/FMCSA requirements, hold HazMat and Tanker endorsements, and have 2–5 years of relevant experience. Expect long shifts, weekends, and a strong safety culture with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is highly preferred.
• CDL Class A required; Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER required.
• 2–5 years of heavy equipment driving experience required.
• 2–5 years of hazardous waste control and environmental services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following all safe work practices.
• Operate at least two types of heavy equipment (e.g., 50/70 Barrel Vacuum, Single Roll-Off Trucks).
• Make deliveries safely and timely.
• Prepare Haz-Mat and Non-Haz manifests.
• Maintain DOT, FMCSA logs, timesheets, and vehicle inspections.
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of vehicles.
• Answer 24/7 Emergency Response calls during standby.
• Work long hours including nights, weekends; overtime may apply.
• Comply with Random Drug Testing Program.
