Job summary

Patriot Environmental Services, a premier provider of environmental services in the Western United States, is seeking a CDL-A Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. You will drive and operate heavy equipment, ensure safety, and support emergency response and remediation projects.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, 2–5 years of experience, and HAZWOPER training. Competitive pay ($26–$35/hr) and benefits are offered. EOE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or highly preferred.
• Current Commercial Driver License (CDL) with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• 2–5 years of experience driving and operating heavy equipment.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER training required.
• Pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize Health and Safety in all tasks and comply with company policies.
• Drive and operate a minimum of two types of heavy equipment (e.g., vacuum trucks, roll-off).
• Make safe and timely deliveries and prepare Haz-Mat and Non-Haz manifests.
• Maintain DOT/FMCSA compliance, logs, timesheets, and vehicle inspections.
• Support on-call emergency response and be prepared for long shifts including nights or weekends.
