Job summary

Patriot Environmental Services is seeking a dedicated Driver/Operator to join our team in the Western United States. You will operate heavy equipment, perform hazardous materials handling, and ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations while delivering timely services to clients.

The role requires a CDL Class A, HazMat/Tanker endorsements, and a 40-hour HAZWOPER certificate, with potential for long shifts and on-call responsibilities. We offer competitive benefits and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current CDL Class A license required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement required.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following all safe work practices.
• Drive and operate a minimum of two heavy equipment types (e.g., 50/70 Barrel Vacuum, Single Roll-Off Trucks).
• Make deliveries in a safe and timely manner.
• Prepare Haz-Mat & Non-Haz manifests.
• Maintain DOT, FMCSA compliance, daily ELD logs, and vehicle inspections.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and cleaning.
• Answer 24/7 Emergency Response calls when on standby.
• Work long hours, including nights/weekends as required.
