Job summary

Patriot Environmental Services, a premier environmental services provider in the Western United States, is seeking a CDL Class A heavy equipment operator. The role requires Hazmat/Tanker endorsements, a strong safety mindset, and 2–5 years of heavy equipment experience.

You will drive and operate vacuum trucks and roll-off units, complete DOT logs, manifests, and maintenance while supporting emergency response operations and site cleanups.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Current Class A CDL required, Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Clean driving record meeting company standards.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER training required.
• 2–5 years heavy equipment driving/operation experience.
• 1–5 years hazardous waste/environmental services experience preferred.
• Pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screening, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including 50/70 Barrel Vacuum and Roll-Off Trucks.
• Make deliveries safely and complete DOT paperwork (logs, manifests).
• Maintain DOT logs, timesheets and vehicle inspections.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and cleaning.
• Answer 24/7 Emergency Response calls when on stand-by.
• Work long hours and overtime, including nights/weekends.
• Comply with Random Drug Testing Program.
• Other duties as assigned.
