Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Second Shift Hazardous Waste Technician to perform routine hazardous and non-hazardous waste tasks, including loading/unloading containers, transporting materials, and performing related duties. Requires high school diploma and training in material handling equipment.

40-hour HAZWOPER and forklift certification are preferred. Position details include a 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM shift, strong safety focus, and benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Ability to communicate through reading and writing.
• Trained in the use of material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload various size containers (totes, drums, tankers, trailers, etc.).
• Transport hazardous waste materials within the facility as directed.
• Complete all necessary paperwork for processing materials and transportation.
• Perform general housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Inspect material handling equipment as directed.
