Job summary

Veolia North America is hiring for a position involving routine hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling. The role requires following procedures, using PPE, operating equipment, and ensuring safe container handling and paperwork accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 9–12 months of general labor experience, and forklift experience is preferred. Training in hazardous waste knowledge is a plus, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate through reading and writing.
• Trained in the use of material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling tasks.
• Load and unload containers using manual or mechanical means.
• Move and stage containers in designated areas.
• Maintain clean, organized and safe work area.
• Assist with paperwork for processing materials and transportation.
