Job summary

Veolia in North America is hiring for a Second Shift hazardous/non-hazardous waste handler in New Jersey. You will move solids and liquids, operate forklifts, unload/load containers, and complete transport paperwork with little supervision.

Responsibilities include packing, labeling, and loading waste for processing, while maintaining a clean, safe work area and following RCRA guidelines. Requires a HS diploma; 40-hour HazWOPER and forklift cert are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with forklift operation preferred.
• Ability to read and write for paperwork and safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload containers, totes, drums, and tanks.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and hand tools to move waste.
• Decontaminate and dispose of containers per guidelines.
• Complete paperwork for material transport and processing.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and follow safety rules.
