Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Waste Technician to support hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling within a fast-paced processing area. The shift is Monday to Friday, Noon to 8:40 p.m., with emphasis on safety, PPE compliance, and daily documentation.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading containers, operating equipment, inspections, and maintaining a clean work environment while adhering to disposal guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 9–12 months general labor experience.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload various size containers (totes, drums, tankers, trailers) using mechanical or manual means.
• Operate fixed and mobile equipment as required.
• Perform equipment inspections and ensure proper PPE usage.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in the processing zone.
• Assist with paperwork for material processing and transportation as needed.
