Job summary

Clean Harbors in Henderson, CO is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety conscious team. This role will be active in the field responsible for hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials. New hires must attend a two week Academy training out of state.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform physical functions as required.
• Willingness to be on-call; weekends/holidays may be required.
• Pass background check, drug test and medical exam as applicable.
• Must meet OSHA Respiratory Protection standards.
• Previous labor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize Health & Safety as the top goal.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting/pulling heavy objects.
• Operate light/heavy equipment and use hand/powered tools.
• Wear PPE including respirators and protective gear.
• Work in varied temperatures and weather conditions.
• Handle and decontaminate equipment and hazardous materials.
• Attend compliance and safety meetings and updates.
• Be on-call for emergency response on rotating basis.
• Support site remediation and waste handling tasks.
