Job summary

Clean Harbors in Henderson, CO seeks a Field Services Technician I to join our safety-driven team. The role performs hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials in field settings.

New hires attend a two-week Academy training out of state, with expenses covered and paid training. The job requires physical work, strict safety adherence, and on-call emergency coverage on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Valid driver\'s license and clean MVR.
• Ability to perform physical functions per key responsibilities.
• Willingness to be on-call for emergency response (rotating every other week).
• Background check, drug test, and medical exam per position.
• Experience in labor-related roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and always acting in a safe manner.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment, handles various hand tools and powered industrial tools, works with vibration-producing tools.
• Wear and properly use PPE, including respirators and protective gear.
• Work in various temperatures indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Work around hazardous materials and potential chemical exposure.
• Perform site inspections and assist in waste handling operations.
• On-call for emergency response on rotating basis.
