Job summary

Clean Harbors in Hutto, TX is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety-conscious team. The role involves field work on hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials.

This position requires attending a paid two-week Academy training (out-of-state possible) with expenses covered. At start, the company offers hourly pay of $23–$25, health benefits after 30 days, a 401K with match, and opportunities for growth and tuition

Qualifications

• On-call emergency response requirement; may include weekends/holidays.
• Background check, drug test, and physical required by position.
• Compliance with OSHA Respiratory Protection standard (29 CFR 1910.134) and facial hair rules.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety as the top priority by following policies and safe practices.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and use hand and powered tools.
• Work in various temperatures indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Wear and use PPE including respirators and protective gear in multiple configurations.
• Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters.
