Job summary

Clean Harbors in Odessa, TX is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety conscious team. This role will be active in the field responsible for hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

The position requires attendance at a two-week paid Academy training (out-of-state possible) with expenses covered by the company; travel, on-call emergency response, and compliance with OSHA standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical duties as described in responsibilities.
• On-call availability and emergency response participation expected.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety as a priority by following policies and procedures.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor and operate tools and equipment.
• Handle hazardous materials, waste, and decontamination tasks.
• Assist in field sampling and meter calibration as needed.
• Attend compliance/safety meetings and follow regulatory requirements.
