Clean Harbors in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a Field Services Technician II to support hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, and equipment decontamination in the field. The role involves handling hazardous materials and working with various PPE; new hires must attend a two-week out-of-state Academy training with expenses covered by the company.

Qualifications

• Background check, drug test, and physical required per position.
• On-call availability including weekends/holidays; may extend >8 hours.
• Valid driver’s license.
• OSHA respirator standard facial hair requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety per policies.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and tools; use PPE.
• Work in various temperatures indoors and outdoors; exposed to chemicals.
• Attend safety updates and compliance meetings.
• Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters.
• Climb ladders/scaffolding; enter trucks and tanks.
• Complete paperwork and vehicle/equipment inspections.
• Be on-call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
