Veolia in North America seeks a Field Operations Supervisor to oversee day‑to‑day field activities, coordinating teams responsible for transportation and disposal of hazardous waste. Responsibilities include tagging, labeling, manifesting and shipping, while ensuringDOT/EPA and Veolia procedures are followed and training is provided.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 2–4 years in hazardous waste, and strong supervisory and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 2–4 years hazardous waste experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Computer proficiency demonstrated.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong time management and deadline discipline.
• Knowledge of contract terms and ability to follow through.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Leads teams in packing, labeling, manifesting and shipping hazardous waste to disposal centers.
• Ensure compliance with DOT/EPA and company procedures.
• Maintain professional communication with internal and external customers daily.
• Assess disposal site capabilities before shipping waste materials.
• Submit paperwork to expedite hazardous waste disposal per regulations.
• Complete required OSHA trainings and refreshers.
• Operate and maintain equipment for timely project completion.
• Assist in training lower level field personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
