Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a supervisor to lead field service teams in the safe disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. The role coordinates subcontractors, ensures regulatory compliance, and provides training to field staff.

Responsibilities include hiring, evaluating, and disciplining team members, ensuring DOT/EPA and OSHA requirements are met, and maintaining accurate documentation for regulatory and contractual purposes.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or BA in a related science required or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of hazardous waste experience required.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT/EPA and safety regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hire and evaluate team members; manage disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Identify opportunities to add value and improve services.
• Provide client-facing communication and problem-solving.
• Ensure OSHA training and refresher courses are completed.
• Oversee equipment operation and maintenance for efficiency.
• Maintain accurate paperwork for DOT/EPA and company records.
• Coordinate subcontractors and field personnel per contract specs.
