Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a field operations supervisor to oversee daily activities, coordinate the team, and ensure safe transportation and disposal of hazardous waste in compliance with state and federal rules. The role includes training staff and assisting in project estimates.

You will manage DOT/EPA paperwork, maintain strong customer relations, and support safety programs, equipment maintenance, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 2 to 4 years of hazardous waste experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Class A or B CDL and 40-hour HAZWOPER Training required.

Responsibilities

• Leads teams in packing, labeling, manifesting and shipping hazardous waste from client sites to disposal centers.
• Ensure compliance with DOT/EPA and Veolia regulations and internal policies.
• Maintain professional communications with internal and external customers daily.
• Ensure accurate paperwork to expedite disposal of hazardous waste materials.
