Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a field operations supervisor to oversee hazardous waste handling, labeling, manifesting and shipping from client sites to disposal centers. The role ensures DOT/EPA compliance and safe, efficient transport of materials.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 2–4 years in hazardous waste, and supervisory skills. CDL and HAZWOPER training are expected. On-site work in CA, with comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 2 to 4 years of hazardous waste experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads teams in packing, labeling, manifesting and shipping hazardous waste from the customer site to disposal centers.
• Ensure compliance with all DOT/EPA and company regulations in paperwork and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to increase value-added services and maintain professional communications with customers.
• Know disposal site capabilities and coordinate efficient disposal and storage of waste materials.
• Ensure completion of required training (DOT, OSHA, etc.) and update refresher courses.
• Operate and maintain equipment to complete projects efficiently and safely.
• Assist in training lower level field personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.
