Job summary

Veolia is seeking a field operations supervisor to oversee day-to-day activities, coordinate transportation and disposal services, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance at customer sites in the Atlanta area.

You will lead teams, provide training, and help prepare project estimates while maintaining professional communication with clients and colleagues. CDL and HAZWOPER training are required, with 2–4 years of hazardous waste experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required.
• 2 to 4 years of hazardous waste experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads teams in packing, labeling, manifesting and shipping hazardous waste from the customer site to disposal centers.
• Comply with DOT/EPA and company regulations and safety requirements.
• Identify opportunities to add value to services through effective communication with customers.
• Understand disposal site capabilities to ensure efficient waste handling and storage.
• Ensure accurate paperwork compliance for regulatory reporting and disposal.
