Job summary

Strategic Risk Solutions (SRS) is seeking an experienced captive insurance leader to spearhead our growth in Hawaii as the Hawaii Domicile Leader. You will drive new business development, expand relationships, and provide strategic leadership to clients and colleagues across the captive ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience within the captive insurance industry.
• Proven ability to develop business relationships and generate new opportunities.
• Experience advising captives' boards and executives.
• Leadership experience managing and developing teams.
• Strong understanding of captive operations, governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent relationship-building, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to influence senior decision-makers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, Business, or a related field.
• Professional designations such as CPA, ACI, or similar credentials are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Market Growth: drive business development throughout Hawaii and the captive insurance marketplace.
• Serve as a Strategic Advisor: act as executive relationship manager for captive clients and guide governance and performance.
• Ensure Operational Excellence: coordinate financial reporting, regulatory filings, audits, and deliverables.
