Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, seeks an experienced equipment operator to drive trucks and operate heavy machinery at our Ohio operations. You may also operate a crusher under supervision and perform routine maintenance as needed.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and some related experience. OSHA/MSHA safety rules apply; willingness to travel and work nights/weekends is required. Join Local 18 IUOE within 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment and completing daily safety checks.
• Knowledge of OSHA/MSHA safety requirements and procedures.
• Ability to follow supervisor directions and work as part of a crew.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment and assist with loading, hauling and material transport.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and report any issues to supervision.
• Maintain safe work practices and comply with safety regulations.
• Assist with general labor tasks and equipment maintenance as needed.
• Work with others to ensure efficient, safe operation at quarry or plant sites.
