Job summary

CGB Enterprises, Inc. is seeking dependable individuals to support grain elevator operations throughout the busy harvest season at facilities in Louisiana. This general position loads and unloads trucks, performs a wide variety of duties as needed, and helps maintain grain quality and safety.

The target start date is 9/1 with a pay rate of $18/hour. Education required is a high school diploma or equivalent; experience is not required, though a year of industrial work is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; education/experience combination acceptable.
• Experience Required – None.
• Preferred - 1 year in industrial environment with dependable work record.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Actual responsibilities will vary depending on daily needs and type of facility.
• Participate in the Safety Program and attend daily pre-shift meetings.
• Perform duties to transfer, load and move grain; maintain grain quality.
• Complete documentation timely, accurately and legibly.
• Perform general clean‑up and housekeeping duties.
• Operate and monitor equipment as required; perform preventative maintenance where applicable.
• Work with heavy equipment as needed and follow directions.
