Job summary

CGB Enterprises, Inc. is seeking Seasonal Grain Elevator Operators to support daily grain handling operations during harvest. This hands‑on, team‑oriented role involves working in a farming environment with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, weighing and grading grain, maintaining quality, and completing documentation. Candidates should be able to follow directions, work independently when needed, and contribute to a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: None required. Preferred: 1 year’s experience working in an industrial environment.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to complete documentation requirements.
• Ability to follow directions and troubleshoot problems.
• Ability to work well independently and within a team.
• Ability to use appropriate tools.
• Ability to maintain focus on exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Fully participate in the company Safety Program and attend daily pre‑shift meetings.
• Perform all duties in compliance with OSHA, company safety, and environmental regulations (ISO where applicable).
• Transfer, load and move grain to appropriate locations.
• Maintain grain quality while being stored and/or transferred.
• Weigh trucks and grade grain where applicable.
• Complete documentation accurately and legibly.
• Perform general clean‑up including sweeping, shoveling, washing, painting and other housekeeping responsibilities.
• Operate, run, monitor and shut down dryer as required.
• Perform preventative maintenance and/or repairs.
• Operate a variety of heavy equipment where applicable.
• Other duties as assigned.
