Job summary

CGB Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Grain Elevator Operator to support daily grain operations at our Illinois facilities. You will participate in safety programs, transfer and load grain, weigh trucks, and help maintain grain quality while performing required documentation and housekeeping tasks.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma and, ideally, 1 year in an industrial setting. The role is on-site with variable daily duties and potential overtime for peak seasons.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred 1 year of industrial experience.
• Basic math and strong communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Safety Program and attend pre-shift meetings.
• Transfer, load and move grain to locations.
• Weigh trucks and grade grain where applicable.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
• Operate heavy equipment as needed.
• Maintain grain quality during storage and transfer.
• Other duties as assigned.
