Job summary

CGB Enterprises, Inc in Illinois is seeking Seasonal Grain Elevator Operators to support daily grain handling during harvest. You will assist with loading/unloading trucks, maintain grain quality, and uphold safety standards.

Responsibilities include attending safety meetings, transferring grain, weighing and grading where applicable, and maintaining documentation. The role may involve operating dryers, basic maintenance, and working in diverse conditions with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preference given to candidates with at least 1 year of experience in an industrial environment and a dependable work record.

Responsibilities

• Fully participate in the company Safety Program and attend daily pre‑shift meetings.
• Transfer, load, and move grain to appropriate locations.
• Weigh trucks and grade grain (where applicable).
• Complete documentation accurately and legibly in a timely manner.
• Operate, run, monitor, and shut down dryers as required.
• Perform preventative maintenance and/or repairs (where applicable).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
