Job summary

America's Heartland Packing is hiring a Harvest Supervisor to direct a production team for safe, high‑quality harvest operations. You will promote morale, lead training, and enforce SQF and safety practices in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a meat/food processing setting, strong English communication, and the ability to drive operational improvements while maintaining product integrity. On-site position with travel to plant sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a production/food manufacturing setting.
• Must understand harvest operations (yield, sanitary dress, carcass anatomy, animal welfare).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Willingness to travel extensively to plant sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to maintain a positive work environment with high morale and safety culture.
• Conduct line meetings and drive succession development within area of responsibility.
• Oversee training for staff and ensure job-specific equipment operation knowledge.
• Participate in operational meetings and evaluate department performance; implement corrective actions.
• Use Kronos to manage crewing and ensure payroll accuracy; communicate tasks and schedules.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize productivity and product quality; troubleshoot downtime.
