Job summary

Prestage Farms seeks a Harvest Supervisor to lead daily harvest operations, drive productivity, uphold food safety, and ensure USDA inspection readiness in our processing facility. You will oversee production staff, coordinate staffing, and partner with maintenance and QA to maintain efficient flow.

The role emphasizes coaching, compliance with HACCP, SOPs, GMP, and SQF, plus reducing waste while maximizing yields.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred in Agriculture, Business, Food Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of harvest or meat processing production experience.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily harvest operations to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Ensure USDA inspections pass and food safety standards are met.
• Coach and develop team members to improve performance and reduce downtime.
• Maintain safe, compliant, and efficient production flow with proper staffing.
