America's Heartland Packing is seeking a QA Lead to ensure product safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on the harvest and fabrication floor through monitoring, auditing, and documenting conformities and nonconformities.

You will supervise the QA team, update records, and collaborate with USDA/FSIS authorities, customers' representatives, and auditors to maintain strict quality standards and animal welfare programs.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Experience in meat industry QA is preferred.
• Ability to work in varied temperatures and with PPE.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day QA department activities.
• Coordinate with USDA/FSIS authorities, customer representatives and auditors.
• Maintain regulatory documents and quality records.
• Enforce animal welfare and quality programs on products.
• Ensure products meet or exceed customer quality requirements.
• Provide leadership for the QA department and train staff.
• Attend plant management and operational meetings.
