Job summary

America's Heartland Packing is seeking a Harvest Supervisor to lead a team in a fast-paced production environment. The role emphasizes safety, product quality, and strong working relationships aligned with company values.

You will drive employee development, coaching, and training within the harvesting area. The position requires supervisory experience, knowledge of harvest operations, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years proven supervisory experience.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Harvest operations (yield / sanitary dress, carcass anatomy, animal welfare etc.).
• Must communicate effectively in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Extensive traveling may include extended stays at plant sites.

Responsibilities

• Promote and drive succession development within area of responsibility.
• Encourage professional team building.
• Oversee employee training in assigned area(s).
• Participate in operational meetings and evaluate departmental performance.
• Use Kronos reporting to establish crewing needs and scheduling tasks.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize productivity and produce a high-quality product.
• Troubleshoot production areas to minimize downtime.
• Conduct job-specific training for proper equipment operation.
• Follow safety practices and conduct monthly safety meetings.
