Job summary

America's Heartland Packing in Wright City, MO seeks a Lead person to provide direction and support to ensure all tasks and objectives are completed successfully. The role involves overseeing a team in a meat processing environment and coordinating daily production goals.

The position requires working knowledge of sanitation, PPE, and safety protocols, with hands-on responsibilities such as dressing carcasses using hooks and knives, identifying issues, and maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to work in a humid, hot, wet, slippery, or moving surface with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge and understanding of all tasks within a department.
• Using tools such as a hook, knife and equipment to safely and properly dress carcasses.
• Communicate with employees and management to quickly and effectively resolve production issues or concerns.
• If contamination is present, use a hook and knife to remove any visible contamination.
• Follow proper sanitation procedures.
