Job summary

PassiveLogic, based in Utah, seeks a Hardware Project Manager to lead cross-functional hardware programs from concept through production. You will coordinate design reviews, prototyping, validation, and manufacturing readiness while ensuring schedule, cost, and performance targets are met.

You will marshal electrical, mechanical, firmware, software, and manufacturing teams, remove blockers, and drive decisions with a data-driven mindset. A strong PM background in hardware is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in hardware project management or hardware engineering program management.
• Experience guiding multidisciplinary hardware teams through multiple stages of the product development lifecycle.
• Experience using multiple project management techniques and knowing when to apply waterfall, agile, Kanban, stage-gate, or hybrid approaches.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware projects from concept through production, creating integrated project plans for requirements, prototyping, design reviews, and product launch.
• Drive cross-functional engineering execution across electrical, mechanical, firmware, software, systems, test, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams.
• Identify roadblocks, facilitate decisions, and keep development moving with a data-driven, action-oriented approach.
• Manage technical and operational risk by surfacing issues early and driving mitigation plans.
• Coordinate prototype and production builds with engineering, sourcing, suppliers, and manufacturing to ensure readiness and learnings.
• Provide clear visibility to stakeholders with plans, progress, goals, decisions, and roadblocks.
