Job summary

PassiveLogic is seeking a Technical Product Manager with deep knowledge of buildings, HVAC, and controls to shape product roadmaps that translate real-world needs into actionable engineering plans.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, balance long-term strategy with near-term releases, and drive customer value in a rapidly scaling AI company at the intersection of autonomous systems and the built environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical program, product, or project management.
• Experience with buildings, HVAC, mechanical systems, building automation, controls, energy modeling.
• Technical or engineering background with relevant degree or equivalent.
• Experience creating product roadmaps and leading multidisciplinary engineering initiatives.
• Strong communication, organization, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage product roadmaps and break down initiatives into clear workstreams for engineering teams.
• Apply buildings and HVAC expertise to inform product decisions and close knowledge gaps.
• Remove roadblocks and drive momentum with data-informed decisions.
• Translate domain requirements into priorities, user stories, test cases, and deliverables.
• Shape roadmaps around user-centered solutions balancing design, feasibility, and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with UI/UX and engineering to ensure fidelity to the intended experience.
• Communicate plans, goals, and risks to stakeholders with clear reporting and planning material.
• Stay informed on building tech trends and evaluate opportunities to integrate new capabilities.
