Job summary

AMD is seeking a highly motivated Hardware Design Verification intern/co-op to work on design, build, and delivery of AI-focused hardware products. You will assist in verification planning, run simulations, and help optimize test pipelines across multiple locations in the U.S.

You will write and debug scripts in Python/Perl, examine regression flows, and collaborate with senior engineers to improve verification coverage.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a United States-based university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with digital design, PC hardware, and lab equipment is valuable.
• Experience or exposure to Linux/Unix/Windows development environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers to build and complete performance verification test plans, simulations, and models.
• Write scripts to track and manage compute resources using Perl/Python.
• Support debugging and improving test cases/models and Verilog/system Verilog coding.
