Job summary

AMD is seeking a Hardware Design Verification intern/co-op in the United States to join the AI/Machine Intelligence team. You will participate in design, build, and delivery of high-end products, collaborating on verification plans and test cases to ensure quality.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in EE or CE programs, with C++, Python, Verilog/SystemVerilog and Linux knowledge. The role offers hybrid/onsite work with full-time hours during term lengths.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a United States-based university in a Bachelor's program (Electrical/Computer Engineering or related).
• Knowledge of C++, Python, Verilog/SystemVerilog and Linux environments is beneficial.
• Familiarity with hardware verification, test benches, and debugging is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers to build and complete verification test plans and models.
• Write scripts in Perl/Python to track compute resources and support testing.
• Support regression flows and improve test cases to enhance performance.
